Systems Engineering and Integration
Systems Engineering is a field that deals with creating and running technology-based systems to meet the needs of everyone involved throughout the system’s life.
Systems engineers make things clearer by defining what people need and what the customer wants. They use creativity to design the system and manage its complexity over time.
Our system engineers consider numerous aspects such as quality, cost, schedule, risk, and opportunities when things are uncertain. They also consider manufacturing, how the system will work, safety, training, and support, and what happens when the system is not needed anymore.
Systems Engineering brings together different areas into a team that works together from the idea to making it real and using it. Some important things in Systems Engineering now are using computer languages and models for systems, using both physical and virtual prototypes at the same time, and using flexible processes. Systems Engineering looks at what both the business and technical sides need to make sure the final product is good for the users. It’s not just for private products but also for public things like buildings and systems that involve both technology and people. Defining the exact boundaries of these systems can sometimes be complicated.
