HY had the opportunity to work on one of the first MicroGrid pilot projects at Kranji National Service Resort and Country Club.
Setup as an Emergency Covid Facility by the Ministry of Defence, the MicroGrid allows the facility to tap into a large span of space to harness solar energy to power the operations. The team was able to demonstrate the potential of using a MicroGrid coupled with Energy Storage Systems and Renewable Sources to achieve Net Zero.
Team HY was also privileged to work with Engie Labs on the operations of the MicroGrid at Pulau Semakau.
We can model and simulate the operations of a Microgrid to study the optimal size of the Energy Storage System and the potential to achieve Net Zero.
We are keen to explore more applications and work with partners to join us in this learning journey. Contact Er. See Fong (seefong@hy-me.com.sg, 92738900) to know more.
